Iran is developing a long-range, large-bodied combat drone capable of covering a distance of three thousand kilometers, and is already in the final stages of work, Aziz Nasirzádeh, commander of the Iranian Air Force, announced recently.
He said the unmanned aircraft’s alias was Kaman-22, developed in line with Air Force needs. There will be various so-called smart ammunition and projectiles on the drone, as well as advanced optical and electronic military devices. The Kaman-22 can spend 24 hours in the air and can transmit images from a great distance for reconnaissance, the commander said.
