Plans for the flying Aston Martin

  • 1Minute

Aston Martin has unveiled its first aircraft concept under the name Volante Vision. The aim of the study is to illustrate the brand’s idea of bringing the usual comfort and sportiness into the air.

Developed in collaboration with Cranfield University and Rolls-Royce, the aircraft Aston can theoretically carry three passengers and be able to take off vertically. The comfortable three-rotor spacecraft is envisioned with an unspecified hybrid propulsion, and plans include self-driving that is now a must-see.

It seems like a car factory for something can no longer exist without an airplane concept. Of course, Aston Martin also explained his plans woven around the study. Andy Palmer, CEO of the brand, said urban traffic will be unsustainable in the future and congestion will be the solution. With the Volante Vision, more affluent shoppers will be able to commute to work in luxury conditions, who can even live away from the noise of the city, as they can get to the city quickly, over traffic jams, with the flying Aston.
