For the seventh consecutive year, China Airlines has claimed the top spot in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI), making it the most sustainable airline in the world. The DJSI is an essential reference for institutional investors who are seeking to invest in companies with strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. S&P Global, which evaluates sustainability, ranks the ESG performance of 61 industries worldwide and identifies the top 10% of each industry. With its first-place ranking out of 57 global airlines, China Airlines has set a new record for the highest number of years at the top.
