Model Zero and Model A flying cars

  • 1Minute

Alef Aeronautics, based in California, has designed their flying car prototypes to resemble traditional cars and plans to begin selling them in 2025 for $300,000.

The Model A will have a range of 321 km on the road and 177 km in the air, while the next model, the Model Z, will be able to travel 643 km on the road and 321 km in the air. The electric vehicles will have eight propellers hidden under the bodywork and a lattice structure on top to provide air flow. The cabin will hold two passengers for the Model A and four for the Model Z, and the whole car will become a wing in flight.

Alef Aeronautics believes that their flying cars will help solve congestion on roads by allowing some vehicles to take to the air and continue their journey on imaginary highways.
