Aura Aerospace’s Evtol

  • 1Minute

Aura Aerospace has developed a VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) aircraft called the Ranger, which is intended for intercontinental journeys and can land on rooftops. The Ranger is powered by a fuel-based propulsion system, allowing it to travel long distances and even cross countries or oceans. It can carry passengers on transoceanic trips with a range of 18,000 kilometers, and can fly in automated mode for up to 22 hours with minimal human intervention.

On board amenities include a miniature kitchen and toilet for passenger comfort. While the Ranger is currently only a concept, Aura has previously worked on the Guardian program to create a VTOL that can hold 4-6 passengers, but so far only a small prototype has been tested.
