Korean flying taxi Plana can carry seven passengers and will be able to fly at 350 km/h

A Korean company called Plana has recently raised funds to develop a flying taxi that can hold up to seven passengers. The project is still in the planning stages, but the recent injection of $10 million in capital may allow for it to move forward.

Plana, a Korean startup, is working on a flying taxi that can hold up to seven passengers and is capable of vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL). The company claims that the vehicle will be able to travel at speeds of up to 350 km/h.

Plana, a Korean startup, is developing a hybrid-powered flying taxi with a range of 500 km. This vehicle, known as an eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing), is being developed by a team of 40 people. However, the process is slow as the necessary certification documentation must be submitted to the appropriate regulatory agency.

It is unlikely that Plana will have a fully operational model by 2024, the target year for some other companies, but they aim to have a prototype ready by then. Production could begin in 2028.
